Garrett just earned his Wolf award.

I know this picture is frightening, but as part of his Wolf award Garrett got to shoot foam balls at the target on me. And lucky for all of us Rich snapped this flattering picture. Sorry for any nightmares I cause, but it was fun.

Saturday was a GORGEOUS day for a first-game-of-the-season for Garrett. Garrett was AWESOME at goalie and the team pulled off a 4-1 victory. Go Red Bulls! (The boys on the team chose the name. Originally it was the Red Butlers. Can you tell they're 8-year-old boys?)

Sam started preschool with Teacher Heidi. He confidently rode his bike to her house and calmly walked inside and hung up his backpack. Not even a glance back. Afterwards, he shared all the fun details with me and couldn't wait to go back. What will I do with my 6 hours per week alone?

I love this family!

Seriously, I love this family so much and am so lucky to know them. We have been friends for many many years. They are wonderful parents, wonderful people, and an amazing family. I love them, and so will you. Please watch and share!

Some Sam and Some Soccer

Sam starts preschool tomorrow. He is so excited! Sometimes I'm just so in love with this kid that I take my camera out on the front porch with him and snap random pictures of him! I'm so incredibly grateful for him and for each one of my kids, even with all of their challenges and quirks (and there are many!). Thank you thank you, Sam-I-Am!
