Sing Me A Song (or two or three)

Nothing brings the Christmas feeling as much as listening to your children sing Christmas songs!
The King children were happy to oblige (well, not Sam).

This is Cassidy's 4th year singing with the Lehi Children's Choir. They do an amazing job!

Despite her hoarse voice, Cass sang a duet with Kaylee. They were really cute.

Then on Thursday it was off to Freedom Elementary's annual Christmas Sing. Let me paint the picture for you: There are just under 1100 students, and each grade performs 2 songs which combined to equal 2 parking nightmares (Rich and I had separate cars), 90 minutes of singing, about 2000 parents and grandparents saving seats (did they camp out over night?) and 1 wiggly 21-month old made to sit still through the whole thing. Now, think about what grades our children are in, and I will tell you the blessed order of the Christmas sing:
Kindergarten, Sixth (so far so good), First, Fourth, Second, Fifth, and Third. Evidently no sneaking out early for these parents!

But then again, I wouldn't have missed this little Rudolph for anything!

Look closely to see our Sixth Grader. I guess he forgot his Rudolph hat.

And saving the cutest for last......

Sam was in such a good mood at this point! He He! Oh well---there is one good thing about staying to the end: the parking lot was nearly emptied out except for us parents of Third Graders! Tis the Season!
